Hostas come in a wide range of sizes and as you go through our listing you will see a letter in parenthesis after the name which denotes the height of the plant…the ledger below will help to convert this to inches.
T Rex (also registered as Tom Rex)
[VL] (Ward) A HUGE hosta so give this one lots of room! Gigantic
green leaves are 18” long and 14” wide and tend to be rather floppy because they are so big. H.
‘T. Rex’ has super substance and grows very well. Topped with near-white flowers.
**Tears of Joy
[mini] (Black/Johnson) Great little sport from H. ‘Tiny
Tears’...green lance-shaped leaves are somewhat folded on a vigorous grower
topped with tiny purple flowers.
Teeny-weeny Bikini
[mini] (Elslager) This one only gets 3-4” tall…a charming mini with pale
yellow leaves framed by a medium green margin that streaks to the center. The pointed leaves have a
nice sheen and will be topped with deep purple flowers in August.
Temptation
[L] (Cornitensis) This is a beautiful newer sport from H. sieboldiana ‘Elegans’ found
in Belgium…large rounded and puckered blue-green leaves have a creamy-white center Topped with
white flowers in midsummer.
Terpsichore
[M] (Scheer) Named for the Greek Muse of dance, this deep green,
lustrous leaved beauty with red petioles extending up the leaf backs will attain a
medium stature, and will surely make a spot in your garden your own, private Xanadu.
Medium purple flowers make an appearance in midsummer.
The Razor’s Edge
[S] (Terpening) Kent gives us another really elegant
plant...long green leaves are quite ruffled and have white backs. The upright
clump shows off the intensely red petioles in a stunning manner. This H.
‘Hacksaw’ and H. ‘Atom Smasher’ cross is a vigorous grower and will be topped
with lavender flowers.
Theo’s Blue
[M] (Lehdens/Zonneveld) A H. pycnophylla hybrid from Theo Leydens of Holland…newly offered in the US.
Beautiful powdery blue leaves are held on purple-red petioles. The back of the leaf is white. Lavender flowers.

great little hosta that holds up well all season... Tickle Me Pink
[S/M] (Stegeman) Brand new introduction from the
Stegemans...leaves emerge bright yellow-chartreuse on red petioles with
red tips and some red brushed across the shiny backs. As the season
progresses, the leaves become a golden color with a slight sheen. Fuchsiapink
buds emerge in September on dark scapes and, as the cooler weather
comes, the leaves are again kissed with touches of red,
**Tiny Bubbles
[mini] (Solberg) Tiny, pointed, shiny yellow leaves on a vigorous grower topped with lavender-purple flowers
that show in midsummer. Sturdy little plant that makes a nice clump.
Tokudama Aureonebulosa
[M] (Maekawa/AHS) Cupped yellow leaves have a blue-green border…can be a slow grower but is
still a very desirable plant with good substance. Nice white flowers in summer.

flowers. A great performer in any climate and a wonderful addition to the garden.

border. Substance is very good and the margin is slightly rippled. Clump is topped with lavender flowers.
**Tongue Twister
[S] (Solberg) We are finding this great little hosta to be a good “doer”…
shiny dark green leaves twist upward and outward and always maintain a fresh appearance. Good
substance on a vigorous grower topped with pale lavender flowers in early fall.
Tortifrons
[S] (Maekawa/Schmid/Japan/AHS) From Japan…dark green leaves have a corkscrew effect…twisting as the thin
blades reach upward. Must be grown in lots of sun to accomplish this effect. Blooms in fall with pale lavender flowers.
wonder who Alttara named this one after...hmmm? Totally Twisted
[M] (Scheer) A fast growing riot of long, light, soft green leaves,
white backed, red petioles, un-tamed and twisted. Many leaves turn a complete twist on
the edges, nicely showing off the white undersides, and turn up from the midpoint to
show off the red legs. As the season grows on, the first flush of leaves can (with the
right exposure) develop yellow flecks and speckles. This trait can be passed on to
offspring. Tolerates sun well. Fertile and has reliably sent up a second set of scapes in
the originator’s garden.
Touch of Class PP13080
[M] (Hans Hansen/Shady Oaks Nursery) A tetraploid from H. ‘June’
and a super plant with intense blue leaves set off by a striking yellow-gold center. Green color is
created where the gold and blue overlap. Lavender flowers.
Tremors
[M] (Terpening) Unique hosta...medium green leaves poke out of a dense clump in all
directions but yet, maintain an orderly appearance. Elongated leaves fold and twist and are quite
pointed. Gives the appearance of movement even when there isn’t any. Lavender flowers.
three distinct colors… **Trifecta
[S] (Briggs Nursery) Colorful new sport from H. ‘Little Sunspot...leaves
have creamy to pure white centers framed by a dark green border. Where the colors
cross there is a distinct and wide yellow line that resembles the shadow of a feather.
Good substance on a vigorous grower that seems to be happiest with adequate morning
sun and bright afternoon shade. Pale lavender flowers in midsummer.
